Tips for getting the most out of your Darlington Raceway weekend

Arrive early

Try to reach the circuit early, especially on race day. Sundays are usually the busiest, so arriving around 10:00 will give you enough time to park, go through security, and enjoy the atmosphere without stress or long queues.

Plan ahead

Traffic around Darlington can be heavy during race weekend. Plan your route and parking in advance if possible. Buying a parking pass ahead of time and allowing extra time for arrival and departure will make your day much easier.

Prepare for the heat

August in South Carolina is typically very hot and humid. Bring sunscreen, wear a hat and light clothing, and make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day.

Have a plan

Decide in advance what you want to see and do – whether it’s the fan zone, merchandise stands, or your grandstand. If you are attending with others, remember that mobile signal can be limited, especially on race day. It’s a good idea to agree on a meeting point in case you get separated.
