The Pearson Tower, opened in 1998, is named in honour of NASCAR icon David Pearson, one of the sport’s most successful drivers. Positioned on the west side of Darlington Raceway, it overlooks Turn 4.

This elevated grandstand provides a clear view of the cars coming out of the final corner and accelerating onto the front straight. Its height gives spectators, particularly in the upper rows, a broader view of the circuit and more of the on-track action.
